The Royal Tombs are under the Basilica of Superga and contain the remains of the Savoy family members, with the exception of the kings of the dynasty of Italy who are buried at the Pantheon of Rome. The crypt containing the Royal Tombs of Casa Savoia, is made in the basements of the Basilica of Superga by King Vittorio Amedeo III. The project was completed in 1778, has an elongated Latin cross shape and hosts in the center the Sarcophagus of the Kings, funeral monument dedicated to the remains of the last King of Sardinia, while in the two lateral arms you can admire the Infant Hall and the Hall of the Queens.

Along the walls of the Crypt are funeral monuments in memory of the characters of Casa Savoia.
In the left arm, the Funebre monument dedicated to Vittorio Amedeo II, founder of the Basilica of Superga and Duke of Savoy, then the Funebre Monument of Prince Ferdinand of Savoy, Duke of Genoa, and Father of the First Queen of Italy, Margherita. In the right hand the commemorative sculpture dedicated to Carlo Emanuele III, second king of Sardinia.
